As a spin-off from Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley was an instant hit and one of the most popular sitcoms of the '70s.

In fact, the show’s producers reached out to Pabst to ask for permission to use their name. They were granted it, and the show went on to become one of the most popular sitcoms of its time.
Laverne and Shirley get reacquainted with Ms. Babish's mentally challenged daughter, Amy, who's visiting from her special school. Lenny meets Amy and immediately comes to like her, despite people's protests about what's best for Amy.
