Theo van Doesburg, pseudónimo de Christian Emil Marie Küpper ( Utrecht 30 de agosto de 1883 - Davos 7 de marzo de 1931 ) fue un pintor, teórico y arquitecto neerlandés. Su vida pictórica comienza en 1889, aunque su primera Exposición tendrá lugar en 1908. Es en estos años cuando comienza a interesarse por la filosofía y por la ciencia.
