14 de oct. de 2023 · In 1470 he painted what’s believed to be his last known work, The Hunt in the Forest. In his final years, Uccello appears to have led an increasingly solitary life. He died on 10 December 1475 at the age of 78 in Florence, Italy. He was laid to rest in the Florentine church of Santo Spirito in his father’s tomb.

Uccello fez parte do Quattrocento do Renascimento , destacando-se por sua maestria nas pinturas em perspectiva e pela impressão de relevo que deu à pintura, recorrendo para isso ao claro-escuro ( chiaroescuro ).

Paolo di Dono, besser bekannt als Paolo Uccello, war ein italienischer Maler und Mosaikkünstler. Uccello gilt als Vater der perspektivischen Malerei in Italien und war ein experimentierfreudiger und auch etwas exzentrischer Zeitgenosse.
