Bridgerton. Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story is a historical drama television limited series created by Shonda Rhimes for Netflix. [1] The series is a prequel spin-off of the Netflix series Bridgerton. The story is loosely based on the rise of Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz to prominence and power in the late 18th century.
He was the heir presumptive of Mecklenburg-Strelitz from the death of his father on 5 June 1752 until he succeeded his uncle Duke Adolphus Frederick III on 11 December 1752. [1] She served as regent for her son after the deaths in 1752–1753 of her husband and brother-in-law of, respectively, the ducal appanage of Mirow and of the Duchy of Mecklenburg-Strelitz.
