Élisabeth d'Anhalt-Zerbst (15 septembre 1563 - 8 novembre 1607) est une princesse d'Anhalt de naissance et électrice de Brandebourg par le mariage. It emerged as a subdivision of the Principality of Anhalt from 1252 until 1396, when it was divided into the principalities of Anhalt-Dessau and Anhalt-Köthen.

She was a daughter of Frederick III, Duke of Holstein-Gottorp and Duchess Marie Elisabeth of Saxony. On 16 September 1649 in Gottorp, she married John VI, Prince of Anhalt-Zerbst. After her husband died in 1667, she became regent for her minor son Charles William, until he came of age in 1674.
Sophie Auguste of Anhalt-Zerbst (9 March 1663 – 14 September 1694), was a German noblewoman member of the House of Ascania and by marriage Duchess of Saxe-Weimar. Born in Zerbst , she was the eleventh of fourteen children born from the marriage of John VI, Prince of Anhalt-Zerbst and Sophie Augusta of Holstein-Gottorp .

Born at the New Palace in Gießen, Elisabeth Amalie was the daughter of George II, Landgrave of Hesse-Darmstadt and Sophia Eleonore of Saxony. Her siblings included Louis of Hesse-Darmstadt, future Landgrave of Hesse-Darmstadt and Anna Sophia, Abbess of Quedlinburg . Elisabeth Amalie was brought up strictly by her mother, who was a devout Lutheran.
