Students wishing to continue for a doctoral degree in Physics should complete the accelerated BA/MA program. Total (Minimum) Credits for a BA in Physics: 26. Note: Not all courses are offered every semester.

    A student at Hunter College must earn a total of 120 credits to graduate with a bachelor’s degree. These 120 credits must include credits to satisfy the Hunter Core Requirement (up to 42 credits) and to satisfy the requirements of a major field of study (major). Credits for the Hunter Core and for a major usually do not add up to 120.

  6. Majors and Minors. A major in any one of the Romance Languages offered at Hunter College (French, Italian or Spanish) is designed as an in-depth study of the spoken language, its written form, and the literature and civilization of the people who speak it. This major prepares students for a variety of career opportunities.

  7. Seats in our Education majors are limited. Unfortunately, not all eligible students are offered a seat in an education major. Candidates who are not able to pursue an education major are encouraged to make an appointment to meet with a Graduate Admissions Advisor or email edadmissions@hunter.cuny.edu and prepare to submit an application to a master’s degree program.
