Thomas’s London Day Schools’ links with Nepal originated in the 1950s when David Thomas, a founding Principal of Thomas’s, served for ten years as an officer in the 2nd King Edward VII’s Own Gurkha Rifles. The CAIRN Trust was founded in 2007, with the aim of supporting and enriching the education of children in rural Nepal.
