Jaime Hernandez: The 2007 John Adams Dollar was the second proof Presidential Dollar design in the Presidential Dollar Series. The coins were only sold in a four piece proof set. Each set contained a Proof Presidential Dollar coin with a portrait of George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison.
Jaime Hernandez: The John Adams Missing Edge Lettering dollar is the second missing edge lettering coin found in the Presidential dollar series. It is scarcer than the previously issued Missing Edge Washington dollar. PCGS has graded a total of just over 1,800 Missing Edge John Adams dollars with most of them being in the MS64 grade.

13 de jun. de 2007 · The Adams dollars has been found with varying degrees of rotation unlike the Washington where, to date, only one variation has been seen. For some examples on the John Adams dollar, this rotation resulted in “medallic” alignment versus the correct, “coin” alignment. Medallic alignment occurs then the dies are rotated a full 180 degrees.
