For Weiner, in terms of Statements, the main point is to convey the information, because it is the work which is information. In this respect Weiner argues that “it doesn’t matter if it’s physically conveyed or whether it’s conveyed verbally or orally” (as cited in Kotz, 2010, p. 199).
