Parks, Recreation & Youth Programs. The Department of Parks, Recreation & Youth Programs manages over 1,000 acres of parks, playgrounds, and open spaces in Syracuse. We manage these spaces and plan events and programs. Our mission is to support city residents and visitors now and in the future.
Recreation programs and activities are available year-round for our park users of all ages and abilities. In our Jacksonville parks, there is always something to do, see, and experience daily!
