A History of the English-Speaking Peoples vol.2: The New World, by Winston Churchill I just got into the second volume after enjoying the first. It’s an excellent work of history. It’s enjoyably written as it was not written to be a textbook but an overview of historical events from the perspective of the English speaking world.
