From 2011 to 2014 NCR has been voted “Best Catholic Newspaper” in the U.S. In November 2011 EWTN launched “Register Radio” to bring the resources of NCR to a radio audience.

Saint Patrick's Day thus became a holy day of obligation for Catholics in Ireland. It is also a feast day in the Church of Ireland, part of the Anglican Communion.
