His daughter and heir, Margaret, married Ralph, the first earl of Stafford, who thus became possessed of the manor of Camberwell, which continued in that family till the attainder of Edward Stafford, duke of Buckingham, in 1521. It was then granted to John Scott , who had been the duke's tenant.

A further line from Bushbury Junction to the end of Stafford Street in Brewood town was being planned by 1874 but was never constructed.
