I am hoping to take away the pacifier for good very soon. as of now when my lo loses it at night we do not go to replace it. but I've noticed when she doesn't have it she wakes up often and cries (but goes back to sleep) and then wakes up earlier than usual and stays awake.
At my early learning center, I’d give them to kids at nap time and they’d hand them back when they woke up, easy peasy. We reduced recently to bed/nap only for our 2yr old. Works great so far. I’ll keep it short. We’re trying to get our 18 month off pacifiers before she gets too attached.
