One of them, Benjamin Pope, vicar 1826–71, was a pluralist and non-resident. Perhaps as a result, only a small proportion of the population attended the parish church in the mid 19th century.

Hace 4 días · St George's Chapel is not closed on Sundays, but is open only for worship, not visitors. I would say it is an important part of a visit to Windsor Castle. Beside being of historic interest, it is the burial place of numerous monarchs, including the late Queen. So perhaps stick with visiting on Saturday.
Hace 2 días · The funeral took place on 17 April 2021 at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, and Philip was temporarily interred alongside 25 other coffins, including that of George III, in the Royal Vault inside St George's. Representatives of countries around the world sent condolences to the royal family upon his death.
