8 de jun. de 2007 · Steps Ahead started as Steps in 1979 at 17th Ave South nightclub in New York & after getting attention in Japan the group changed their name to Steps Ahead in 1982. "Magnetic" is one of their more original music sections from 1986. I see that other reviews compare their music to Yellow Jackets & Spyro Gyra as a starting point & rightly so.

Expansive09 25 jul. 2020. comentando Magnetic ( LP, Album) 60441-1. Radically cool 80's electronica meets jazz fusion. I think all the performers on this gem are pushing things the jagged rhythms,, melodies and progressive yes thats right progressive instrumentation fell by the wayside in the syrupy sap driven drivel of smooth jazz.
