  7. Colonel Henry Luttrell was the son of Thomas Luttrell and Barbara Segrave. He was born about 1655 in Luttrellstown, Clonsilla Parish, County Dublin, Ireland and was primarily an Irish soldier. Both he and his brother, Simon, fought on the side of James II, however, after the seige of Limerick, in which it is suspected he aided the enemy, he switched sides and oppenly supported King William.
