3 de mar. de 2024 · Words have never been enough to describe what David Lindley brought to a song. I played with David for the first time in a dressing room at the Troubadour in 1969. My friend Jimmy Fadden of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band had brought him to say hello, and pointed out that David had his fiddle with him, saying he would probably sit in if I asked him to.

4 de jun. de 2010 · Tonal magic. I've never been so excited about a tone before. To my ears it's definitely doing that Lindley 'Running on Empty' thing. Best way I can describe it is 'fragile' sounding but pretty heavily driven with great string definition as opposed to 'thick' like every drive pedal I've tried.
