Biografia [ editar | editar código-fonte ] Filho do marquês Ernesto Grappelli e Anna Emilie Hanoque, foi encaminhado a um orfanato após a morte de sua mãe quando tinha apenas quatro anos e seu pai foi combater na Primeira Guerra Mundial.
