14 de sept. de 1999 · I mentioned the songs stand out, and besides the GOB cover tune, Poe's "Hello" and folk-tress Beth Orton's "It's Not The Spotlight" are the keepers from this CD. As for the rest of Stir of Echoes, enjoy… but with some caution.

Poe met Jeffrey Connor towards the completion of the record as a session bassist she hired for additional overdubs on "Hello". Connor had given Poe a track he started writing after working with her. Poe heard the demo and passed it to Jerden who immediately gave the track the green light and had Connor come in to produce.
