  5. Gwenllian was born in 1282 and was the daughter of Llywelyn ap Gruffudd, also known as Llywelyn the Last, the first and last King of Wales. She was an only child, making her the heiress of the royal family of Aberfrraw. Her mother, Eleanor de Montfort, tragically died while giving birth to her.
