Ashdown House is a country house and former school near Forest Row, East Sussex, England, a Grade II* listed building. One of the first houses in England to be built in the Greek Revival architectural style, it was designed in 1793 as the second independent work of Benjamin Henry Latrobe , his last work in Britain before emigrating to the United States .
9 de may. de 2024 · EMERGENCY services responded to reports of an unexploded bomb after it was discovered in Ashdown House. Sussex Police responded to the incident in Sedlescombe Road North, St Leonards, at approximately 9.30am this morning (May 9). Nearby homes and businesses were evacuated, and a cordon was put in place as a precaution.
