Queen’s Gate School is a day school for girls aged 4-18, located in South Kensington, on the edge of the capital’s educational and cultural heartland, the perfect place to inspire and indulge young hearts and minds. Our close-knit community of around 500 pupils is a special one.

The Albertopolis Scholarship will be awarded based on results in these examinations, together with an interview with the Principal, and a report from the applicant’s current school. Since its foundation more than 125 years ago, when it was known as ‘an unschooly school’, there’s been a no-uniform policy, meaning when travelling to and from the buildings girls don’t draw attention to themselves and simply melt into London life.
Queen’s Gate is an independent day school offering an excellent all-round education to girls from 4 to 18. We are a relatively small school with just over 500 pupils, but one which is rich in tradition and at the same time abundant with the energy and spirit of the 21st century.
