(updated 12-11-23) The Beach Boys — Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston, and David Marks — recently reunited to film for their upcoming group documentary. The BBs gathered at Paradise Cove in Malibu, CA, where their 1962 Surfin' Safari album cover was shot.
“California Saga: Big Sur” is the third track on Holland by The Beach Boys and the first track in their California Saga. Written by Mike Love, it is one of the few songs he has a solo credit for.
