When Isabella Campbell was born on 13 May 1700, in Rosneath, Dunbartonshire, Scotland, United Kingdom, her father, John Campbell of Mamore, was 41 and her mother, Elizabeth Elphinstone, was 26. She married William Montgomerie Capt. in 1710, in Ireland. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 3 daughters. She died on 3 January 1786, in Dublin, Ireland, at the age of 85.
