Downe House is one of the UK’s leading girls’ boarding schools. Established in 1907, Downe House is a traditional boarding and day school with a modern approach for girls aged 11-18. Situated in a beautiful Berkshire 110-acre woodland estate, Downe House offers family-friendly boarding balanced with an exceptional range of opportunities.
Girls can use the extra hours they accrue by not having to travel to all their activities to deep their expertise and expand their skills and interests. A day may look like the following: 7am – Fitness (optional) 7:30am – House meeting (optional) 7:45am – Breakfast (optional) 8:30am – Assembly/Chapel/Tutor meeting.
On formal acceptance of the offer (payment of deposit and signed acceptance), Downe House Riyadh will welcome you, and enrol your child as a new pupil. This then leads to a series of events and processes to initiate and integrate each pupil and their parents into the wider Downe House family, as preparation for a smooth transition and a positive start at the school.
