Prince Octavius of Great Britain was a member of the British Royal Family during the reign of King George III. He was the thirteenth child and eighth son of the King and Queen, born on February 23, 1779, at Buckingham House in London. Prince Octavius' christening took place on April 23, 1779, in the Great Council Chamber at St James's Palace.
