2 de may. de 2008 · Veedon Fleece was one of the Van Morrison recordings I missed in the mid-70s, but when it was remastered and reissued on CD, I picked it up as I wanted to fill in the holes in my Van Morrison collection. Along with Astral Weeks, Veedon Fleece is generally held to be one of the most inaccessible and mystical works in the Morrison canon.

Veedon Fleece est le huitième album studio de Van Morrison sorti en octobre 1974. Le chanteur natif de Belfast s'est durablement exilé aux États-Unis dès l'âge de vingt-et-un ans, cédant dans un premier temps à la volonté de son producteur Bert Berns afin de lancer sa carrière solo, puis à celle de l'américaine Janet Planet qu'il a épousée un peu plus tard.
