The twins rose to fame in 2012 after winning a televised singing competition in Norway. The Gunnarsen twins were only ten years old when their talents got discovered.
The municipality therefore deposited the furnishings of the bedroom and the study at the Norwegian Folk Museum. The study was reconstructed and exhibited with all of the original objects while the bedroom, with Bergliot Ibsen´s approval, was loaned to Skien to be exhibited along with the library at the Brekke estate.

Henrik Ibsen fue invitado al salón literario de Magdalene Thoresen, donde conoció y se enamoró de Susannah, quien sirvió de traductora a sus obras. Susannah y Henrik se casaron en 1858. Su único hijo fue Sigurd Ibsen, político y escritor que se casó con Bergliot Bjørnson, hija del escritor Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson.
