The tale of the mutiny on the Bounty remains one of the most intriguing stories of adventure on the high seas more than 200 years after the ill fated voyage that made Captain Bligh and Fletcher Christian legends. 8 de feb. de 2005 · The 1984 VHS edition of MUTINY ON THE BOUNTY (powder blue and gray cover scheme) comes in an oversized lidded cardboard box. The tape is stored within, held firmly in place in a black plastic tray. Although this is probably the least historically accurate of the four popular versions of the H.M.S. Bounty story, it is surely the most entertaining.

14 de ago. de 2021 · The film tells a fictionalized story of the real-life mutiny led by Fletcher Christian against William Bligh, captain of HMAV Bounty, in 1789. It is the second American film to be based on the novel, the first being Mutiny on the Bounty (1935), also produced by MGM.
Bligh is jealous of the aristocratic 1st Lt. Fletcher Christian and along the journey, his tyrannic and cruel behavior leads to a showdown with the rebel Seaman John Mills and other seamen. But on the voyage of returning to England, his savage attitudes kill crewmembers, forcing Fletcher to lead a mutiny to overthrow Bligh.
