Bill Irwin (born April 11, 1950) is an American stand-up comedian, actor and voice artist. He is best known for his work as Mr. Noodle in Sesame Street . He also appeared in the television series Northern Exposure and the M. Night Shyamalan movie Lady in the Water .
Bill Irwin ist das älteste von drei Kindern. Er studierte an dem Oberlin College in Ohio und dem Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey's Clown College in Florida. 1980 begann er seine Filmkarriere mit einem Auftritt in Popeye – Der Seemann mit dem harten Schlag, nachdem er bereits als Clown und Theaterschauspieler tätig gewesen war.
