Franchot Tone, född 27 februari 1905 i Niagara Falls i delstaten New York, död 18 september 1968 i New York, var en amerikansk skådespelare, regissör och filmproducent. Tone var gift fyra gånger. Första gången med Joan Crawford 1935–1939, med vilken han gjorde flera filmer. Han fick sedan två barn i sitt äktenskap med Jean Wallace .

Franchot Tone was nominated for an Academy Award in 1936 for Mutiny on the Bounty (1935) and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960 for his film work. His most notable work includes Mutiny on the Bounty (1935), Dangerous (1935), Fast and Furious (1939), and Phantom Lady (1944).
