  3. Giuseppina Maria Camilla (also Josephina) Grassini (April 18, 1773 in Varese, Italy – January 3, 1850 in Milan) was a noted Italian contralto, and a singing teacher. She was also known for her affairs with Napoleon and the Duke of Wellington.

  4. Her affair with Wellington is supposed to have taken place in 1814, and would make her one of two women known to have shared the two opponents' beds, the other one being Giuseppina Grassini. Unlike Grassini, she was indiscreet enough in later life to compare their sexual performances, her opinion being that "Monsieur le Duc était de beaucoup le plus fort" ("The Duke was by far the stronger").

También era conocida por sus aventuras con Napoleón y el duque de Wellington . Cantó en diversas producciones de compositores como Cimarosa , Cherubini y Zingarelli .
