As a remake, this movie completely misses the mark of what made the original Rocky Horror so great. The direction is flat and boring, the sets look more suited to a high-school play than a professional film, most of the characters are over-exaggerated to the point of being annoying, and the musical numbers have lost all of their energy (with the lone exception of 'Hot Patootie- Bless My Soul).
