It's a terrific Christmas story of compassion and forgiveness, generosity and kindness; there is also the wonderful character of Simpkins the cat who learns a lesson and changes his ways! Good for all ages. "No more twist!" they yell and the story continues.

The best tailor in the city of Gloucester is tasked with making the finest jacket and waistcoat for the mayor who's to be married on Christmas Day. Even though the tailor was poor he had pride in his work and was happy for the mice to have any leftover fabric.
