The Quarrymen est un groupe de skiffle et de rock 'n' roll formé à Liverpool par John Lennon, pendant l'été 1956, avec plusieurs amis d'école. Les Quarrymen se sont baptisés d'après la Quarry Bank Grammar School, à laquelle Lennon et la plupart des autres membres du groupe étaient inscrits. Paul McCartney puis George Harrison rejoignent le groupe, qui évoluera pour devenir les Beatles.

The Quarrymen - soms gespeld als The Quarry Men - is een Britse popgroep die in 1956 werd opgericht door John Lennon. In juli 1957 trad Paul McCartney tot de groep toe en tegen het einde van datzelfde jaar maakte ook George Harrison deel uit van de bezetting, waarmee de basis voor The Beatles was gelegd.
