Happy 100th birthday (2 days ago – we can get away with belated on #100) to bandleader, trumpeter, songwriter, and actor Ray Anthony (born 1/20/22). As the last surviving member of the Glen Miller Orchestra, Anthony remains the greatest living ambassador to the big band sound and his solo albums on Capitol Records are worth checking out if you dig the classic swing.
