27 de may. de 2021 · Thomas Cranmer nació el 2 de julio de 1489 en el poblado de Aslockton, Nottinghamshire, Inglaterra, siendo el segundo hijo de Thomas y Agnes Cranmer. Entre 1510 y 1511, Cranmer recibió una beca para el Jesus College, en Cambridge. Estuvo apartado de sus estudios por un breve periodo debido a un matrimonio secreto del que pronto enviudó.
