Henrietta Ponsonby, Countess of Bessborough, 1761 – 1821. Full name: Lady Henrietta Frances Spencer. She was more usually known as Harriet. Wife of Frederick Ponsonby, 3rd Earl of Bessborough. Amongst the couple's six children was Lady Caroline Lamb. She

Born in London, Ponsonby was the eldest son of John Ponsonby, 4th Earl of Bessborough, and his wife.
