Antoine-Jean Gros ( Parigi, 16 marzo 1771 – Parigi, 25 giugno 1835) è stato un pittore francese . Allievo di Jacques-Louis David, si orienta al contrario del maestro verso una pittura di storia drammatica e spesso antieroica.

Antoine-Jean Gros (ur. 16 marca 1771 w Paryżu, zm. 25 czerwca 1835 w Meudon) – francuski malarz neoklasycystyczny, prekursor romantyzmu. W 1827 roku otrzymał tytuł barona. Urodził się w rodzinie malarza miniaturzysty, później studiował w pracowni Davida. W 1793 wyjechał do Włoch i w 1796 poznał Napoleona Bonaparte.
Antoine-Jean Gros ( 16. března 1771 Paříž – 25. června 1835 Meudon) byl francouzský malíř portrétů, bitevních a mytologických scén období klasicismu a preromantismu. Proslavil se jako dvorní malíř Napoleona Bonaparta a byl povýšen do šlechtického stavu.
Antoine-Jean Gros udførte endvidere en lang række portrætter af kejserdømmets mænd. Efter Napoleons fald og Davids landflygtighed overtog Gros mesterens atelier, og han vendte tilbage til en mere konventionel klassisk stil, der hurtigt udviklede sig til akademisme. I 1824 færdiggjorde han udsmykningen af kuplen i Panthéon i Paris.
