Brunswick Cathedral. The Brunswick Cathedral, in the City of Braunschweig (Brunswick), Germany, is a large Protestant church dedicated to Saint Blaise and was built by Henry the Lion from 1173 to 1195. While commonly called a cathedral, it is not actually one. Henry and his consort Matilda are both buried in the cathedral.
Otto I of Brunswick-Lüneburg (about 1204 – 9 June 1252), a member of the House of Welf, was the first duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg from 1235 until his death. He is called Otto the Child to distinguish him from his uncle, Emperor Otto IV .

The cathedral is located in the provincial city of Bendigo, Victoria, Australia . It was designed in the Gothic Revival style in 1895 by an architect of the firm Reed, Barnes and Tappin.
