Albert Anton, Prince of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt (14 November 1641 in Rudolstadt – 15 December 1710, ibid.) was the ruling Count of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt from 1662 to 1710. He was raised to Imperial Prince in 1697, however, he chose not to accept his elevation. In 1710, he was elevated again, and this time, he accepted.
Ludmilla Elizabeth was a daughter of Count Louis Günther I of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt and his wife Countess Emilie of Oldenburg-Delmenhorst. Her father died in 1646 and she was raised in a strictly Protestant fashion by her mother. Ludmilla had talents for the arts and sciences. She lived with her mother at Friedensburg Castle.
