24 de feb. de 2023 · Lucian Freud. (1922-2011), Artist. Sitter in 66 portraits. Artist of 6 portraits. Grandson of Sigmund Freud, he was born in Berlin and moved to England aged ten in 1933. He studied at the Central School of Art and the East Anglian School of Painting (1939-42) under Cedric Morris. His first solo exhibition was at the Lefevre gallery, London in 1944.

His graceful pictures of the Madonna and Child, his altarpieces and his life-size mythological paintings, such as 'Venus and Mars', were immensely popular in his lifetime.
5 de ago. de 2023 · Born in Paris, the son of a grocer, Monet grew up in Le Havre. Contact with Eugène Boudin in about 1856 introduced Monet to painting from nature. He was in Paris in 1859 and three years later he entered the studio of Charles Gleyre, where he met Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Alfred Sisley and Frédéric Bazille.
