Although relatively highly priced this is a sturdy well-produced box set, showcasing all the Mercury recordings by the great American pianist Byron Janis. The performances are uniformly excellent and recorded using Mercury's renowned Living Presence technique, further enhanced on the blu-ray disc included. Recommended.
