Lowbacca ★★½. There's a great deal of talent here, from Lionel Barrymore early on, to Spencer Tracy and James Stewart through much of this, to Sydney Greenstreet once the film reaches Malaya. That feels like a very potent cast, but while Malaya starts off with a great deal of energy, it doesn't seem like it's able to maintain it.
