Her appearance, essentially nude, had a lot to do with it, but her immersion in the character gave her a life outside of the comic book pages. But Jennifer Lawrence managed to do what Romijn couldn’t. Despite wearing so much latex and body paint, she did manage to wow us all with her facial expressions.
