I actually like Alice’s story and her progression from Stepford wife to depressed Alice kind of makes a lot of sense. Alice’s backstory of having been a Serpent and growing up on the Southside actually makes sense in that she wanted to better herself by marrying Hal, moving to the richer part of Riverdale and then raising her daughters to higher standards than she was probably raised.
