THE SALVATION ist ebenso stimmungsvoll wie ausgesprochen geradlinig inszeniert und von allen Beteiligten stark gespielt. Etwas mehr Tiefe hätte ich mir für einen Genrebeitrag aus dem Jahr 2014 aber schon gewünscht – und keine schwachen CGI-Effekte, durch die hier kontraproduktiv Budgetlimitierungen zu kaschieren versucht werden.
