We frequently host school/college group visits to Caius, and also visit schools ourselves. Our Schools Liaison Officer spends time visiting schools in our link areas of Norfolk and Hertfordshire, and our London Outreach Officer visits our linked London boroughs of Barnet, Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lewisham, Newham and Waltham Forest.

Caius 12 is a programme from Gonville & Caius College for Year 12 students from state schools across the UK. The sustained programme, which is entering its fourth year, is designed to empower and support Year 12 students in their post-secondary choices. In 2023, the programme reached over 150 able students.
Caius has a large community of Natural Scientists (usually something like 26 per year), split roughly equally between the Physical and Biological Sciences. We also have a large number of Fellows, who teach our students and are involved in active research at the various University Departments.
