26 de may. de 1990 · May 26, 1990. GLENDALE, Calif. (AP) - Actor Vic Tayback, who played Mel the crusty diner owner on the old "Alice" television series, died at home of a heart attack Friday, his agent said. He was 60.
December 10, 2019. Former child star Philip McKeon has died. The actor passed away at age 55 Tuesday morning in Texas after battling a longtime illness, family spokesperson Jeff Ballard confirmed in a statement to Access Hollywood. “We are all beyond heartbroken and devastated over Phil’s passing,” Ballard’s statement read.
Vic Tayback made one guest appearance on Flo. Diane Ladd, who received an Academy Award nomination for her portrayal of Flo in the film version, joined the cast in 1980 as Isabelle "Belle" Dupree, a hard-edged but kind-hearted woman. She had been a waitress of Mel's in the past, during which the two had a romantic relationship.
